No. SANKIRNA-0816/625/C.R. 101/DESK-11.— Whereas, the Government of Maharashtra, by Government Notification, Law and Judiciary Department, No. CRC. 2011/C.R. 149/DESK 12, dated the 20th January 2012 has, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Gram Nyayalaya Act, 2008 (4 of 2009) in its application to the State of Maharashtra, and after consultation with the High Court of Judicature at Bombay, established the Gram Nyayalaya for the Village at Bodwad, sub-ordinate to the District Court of Jalgaon, in Jalgaon District with effect from the 22nd January,2012; And whereas, the Government of Maharashtra, by Government Notification, Law and Judiciary Department, No. SANKIRNA-0816/625/C.R. 101/DESK-11, dated 12th June, 2019 has, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974) and in partial modification of all the earlier notifications issued in this behalf and of all other powers enabling in that behalf, and after consultation with the High Court of Judicature at Bombay, established, for functioning as a regular Court of Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Bodwad, with effect from the 16th June, 2019 ; And whereas, as the regular Court of Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Bodwad, is functioning for the respective jurisdiction, the Government of Maharashtra considers it expedient to direct that the Gram Nyayalaya for village Bodwad shall cease to function from the date the Court of Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Bodwad, started functioning ; And whereas, the Government of Maharashtra, by Government Notification, Law and Judiciary Department, No. SANKIRNA. 0816/625/C.R.101/DESK-11, dated 12th June 2019 has, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 21, 22A and 23 of the Maharashtra Civil Courts Act (XIV of 1869) and in partial modification of all the earlier notifications issued in this behalf and of all other powers enabling in that behalf, and after consultation with the High Court of Judicature at Bombay, established, for functioning as a regular Court of Civil Judge (Junior Division), Bodwad, with effect the 16th June, 2019 ; And whereas, as the regular Court of Civil Judge (Junior Division) and Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Bodwad, is functioning for the respective jurisdiction, the Government of Maharashtra considers it expedient to direct that the Gram Nyayalaya for village Bodwad shall cease to function from the date the Court of Civil Judge (Junior Division) and Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Bodwad, started functioning ; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Gram Nyayalayas Act, 2008 (4 of 2009) read with section 21 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (10 of 1897) and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf, the Government of Maharashtra hereby, with effect from the 16th June 2019, rescinds the Government Notification, Law and Judiciary Department No. CRC. 2011/CR 149/DESK-12, dated the 20th January 2012.
