EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 1941] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, JULY 03, 2020/ASADHA 12, 1942 MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 3rd July, 2020 S.O. 2195(E)—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986) and in pursuance of the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Environment and Forests, number S.O. 1533(E), dated the 14th September, 2006, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide number S.O. 2031(E), dated the 28th June, 2017, namely:- In the said notification, after paragraph 2, the following paragraph shall be inserted, namely: - ‘‘2 A Notwithstanding anything contained in paragraph 2, the Chairman and Members of the Authority, Gujarat shall hold office for a term up to the 27th December, 2020 or till the constitution of new Authority, Gujarat, whichever is earlier.’’.
