Action under Section 8(1)(b) against Shri Suresh Kumar, Ray, Absconders

No. U – 11011/01/2014 – PITNDPS dated 22.9.2014 directing that Shri Suresh Kumar Ray @ Shri Rajkumar s/o Shri Vishwanath Ray, resident of 127, Bank Colony, Piska More, Ratu Road, P.S.-Sukhdevnagar, P.O. Ranchi, Ranchi – 835005 and 41, Rampur Shyamchand, Vill/Town-Rampur Shyamchand, Anchal-Raghopur, District-Vaishali-844508 be detained and kept in custody in Dumdum Correctional Home, Kolkata with a view to preventing him from engaging in illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs & psychotropic substances. 2. Whereas the Central Government has reason to believe that the aforesaid person has absconded or is concealing himself so that the said detention order cannot be executed. 3. Now, therefore, in exercise of powers conferred by clause (b) of sub–section (1) of Section 8 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby directs the aforesaid person to appear before Shri Swarup Samanta, Investigating Officer, Narcotics Control Bureau, Kolkata Zonal Unit, 4/2, Karaya Road, 3rd Floor, Kolkata- 700017 within 10 days of the publication of this order in the Official Gazette.
