NOTIFICATION WHEREAS the premises named, detailed and described in the Schedule below is a place used for supplying diesel/petrol from Bina Refinery, Madhya Pradesh to Panki, Kanpur Nagar Terminal through pipeline ; AND WHEREAS an information with respect thereto, or the destruction or obstruction thereof, or interference therewith, would be useful to an enemy ; AND WHEREAS in pursuance of clause (1) of Article 258 of the Constitution of India, the Ministry of Home Affalrs, Government of India has vide Nolificalion no. S.0.1285 dated 4 th May, 1963, published in Part Il, section 3, sub -section (ii) of the Gazette of India, Extraordinary dated 11 ™ May, 1963, entrusted the functions of the Central Government to the State Government of Uttar Pradesh in relation to any matter specified In sub-clauses (c) and (d) of clause (8) of section 2 of the Official Secrets Act, 1923 (Actno.19 of 1923) ; NOW, THEREFORE |, in exercise of the powers under sub-clause (d) of clause (R) of section 2 of the Official Secrets Acl, 1923 ( Act no.19 of 1923), read with Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs Notification no. S.0.1285, dated 04 May, 1963, the Governor Is pleased to declare the premises named, detailed and described in the Schedule given below to be a *prohibited place " for the purposes of the aforesaid Act and the Governor is further pleased to direct that a copy of this notification in English and in the vemacular of the locality be affixed to the said premises.
