Notification regarding Sanction Project/Schemes grant of Administrative Approval

N+ Panchkula HUTEEATHY W AT PANCHKULA METROPOLITAN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY PANCHKULA Dated : 14™ June, 2023 NOTIFICATION In exercise ol the powers conferred under Clause - (k) of Sub-Section - (2) of Section - 38 read with Clause - (a) of Sub-Scction (1) of Scction - 16 ol the Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority Act, 2021, the Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority here by makes the following regulations, namely: 1. Short Title and Commencement : (1) These regulations may be called the Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority (Sanctioning of Projects and Schemes) Regulations, 2023. (2) These regulations shall come into foree on the date of their publication on the website of the Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority. 2. Definition — (1) In these regulations unless the context otherwise requires :- (a) “Act” means the Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority Act. 2021 : (b) “Authority™ means the Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority established under Sub-Scction - (1) of Section - 4; (¢) “Chairman™ means the Chicl Minister of Haryana : (d) “Chief Lixceutive Officer™ means Chief Executive Officer of the Authority appointed under Sub-Section - (1) of Section - 9 - (¢) ~Section™ or “Sub-Scction ™ means a Section or Sub-Section of the Act & (2) Words and expressions used herein and not defined in these regulations but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act. Powers to Sanction Projects :- The powers to sanction projects/schemes and grant of Administrative Approval under Section - 16 (1) (a) of the Act shall be exercised as follows :- 1 Sr. | Nature of Power Competent Authority Extent of Power No. 1. | To sanction projects / Authority Above Rs. 80 crore | SChc".%:S “”‘4 grant of Chairman of Authority Above Rs. 40 crore and | Administrative Approval up to Rs. 80 crore 4. Before submission of a proposal to the competent authority for according administrative approval of a project, the proposal shall be first placed before the Core Planning Cell (CPC) for its recommendations. The proposal, as recommended by CPC. shall be placed for public consultation on the website of the Authority secking their online comments/suggestions. Afler taking into consideration the comments/suggestions received [rom public. the proposal. duly amended, shall be placed before the competent authority for its Administrative Approval as provided under Clause - 3 of these regulations. 5. A statement of Projects for which Administrative Approvals and award ol contracts have been accorded at the level of Chairman or the Chiel Exccutive Officer shall be placed for information of the Authority in the next meeting of the Authority. 2 6.
