No' 37'3/Legal (iii)/2007.-ln exercise ol the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of Section 23 read with sub-sections (1) and (2) of Section I of the all India Councit lor Technicat Education Act' 1987 (52 ol 1987) and in supersession of theAlllndiaCouncilforTechnicalEducation (Financial Adviser and Group'A'Technical Posts) Recruitment Regulations, 1g95 and the All India Council{or TechnicalEducation (Group'A','B'and'C'Non-technicalposts) Recruitment Regulations, 1g99, except in respect of things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the All India Council lor Technical Education hereby makes the lollowing Regulations, regulating the method of recruitment to the Group 'A', 'B' and 'c' posts in the Ail India council for Technicat Education, namelv:- Short titte and commencement:. (llThese regulations may be catted the Att India Councit for Technical Education (Group ,A', .B' and ,C, posts) Recruitment Regutations, 2007. (2) These shall come into force on the date of their publication in the officiat Gazette. App[icatlon:'These rules shatt be appticabte to the posts specified in column 2 of the schedule annexed to these regutations. Number of posts, classification and scate of pay.- The number of posts, their classification and scate of pay attached thereto shatt be as specified in cotumns 3 to 5 of the schedute annexed to these Regutations. Method of recruitmellt, age timit and quatifications etc:-The mEthod of recruitment to the said posts, age timit, qualifications and other matters relating thereto shalt be as specified in cotumns 6 to 14 of the said Schedute. t.t rII t It, I It- t I C- I I L. Disquatificatiorr: -l.lo'Persorr a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse tivirrg; or b ) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage v,4th any person, shalt be eiigibte for appointment to th,r saici.posts: Provlded that the Councl[ may, if satisfied that such nnrriage is permissihte under the peBonal law apptlcable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doin$, exempt any person from the operation of these regutations. Absorptlon.of deputationists:-Exlsting Incumberrts working on deputation basis, wtro have compteted at least one year service in AICTE, shatt be given one opportunity for consideration for permanent absorption in thelr respective posts against direct recruitment quota. The absorption rules shatt be notified by the Council separatety. lnltiat constitution:-Any person appointed on regular basis and hotding the posts on the date of commencement of these regulations shatt be deemed to have been appointed under these regulations and the services rendered by him in the said post before the said commencement shatt be taken into account as regutar service for d6ciding etigibitity for promotion to the next grade.
