Notification regarding declaration of "Controlled Area for restrictions of movements of swine species against African Swine Fever dt. 21.09.2022

(EXTRA.), SEPT. 21, 2022 (BHDR. 30, 1944 SAKA) 3697 HARYANA GOVERNMENT ANIMAL HUSBANDRY & DAIRYING DEPARTMENT Notification The 21st September, 2022 THE PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF INFECTIOUS AND CONTAGIOUS DISEASES IN ANIMALS ACT, 2009 No. 5204(CFMS)-AH-4-2022/6442.— In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of Section 6 read with Sub-section (1) and (2) of Section 7 of “The Prevention and Control of Infectious and Contagious Diseases in Animals Act, 2009 (27 of 2009)”, the Government of Haryana, hereby declares the District Ambala as “controlled area” for restriction of movement of swine species within or outside the district and bordering States to prevent, control and contain the African Swine Fever (ASF). All Pig movement upon declaration of infected premises for the last 30 days should be traced back in order to identify the contaminated premises.
