IN pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution. the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no. 1954/1X-6-2019-02 C.V-2017, dated December 28, 2019 for general information : Dated Lucknow, December 28, 2019 'WHEREAS Government notification no. 1057/1X-6-2018-02C.V.-2017, dated May 29, 2018 was published to invite objections and suggestions on the proposal for including of the areas in the territorial limits of the smaller urban area of Municipal Council, Jalalpur district Ambedkar Nagar as required under sub section (1) of section 4 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916 (U.P. Actno. 2 of 1916) ; AND. WHEREAS, Objections and suggestions received within the stipulated period has been disposed off Government order no. 1853/9-6-2018-02C.V./2017 Dated November 12, 2018 B _Now, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers under clause (2) of Article 243-Q of the Constitution read with sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916 (U.P. Act no. 2 of 1916). the Governor is pleased to include the area specified in Schedule-1 below in the smaller urban area of Municipal Council, Jalalpur district Ambedkar Nagar for the purposes of Part IX-A of the Constitution and is further pleased to notify under clause (d) of Article 243-P of the Constitution that the area specified in Schedule-11 below shall be the territorial area of the said Muncipal Council, Jalalpur district Ambedkar Nagar with effect from the publication of this notification in the Gazette.
