EXTRA ORDINARY Published by Authority CHANDIGARH, THURSDAY, JUNE 6, 2024 (JYAISTHA 16, 1946 SAKA) GOVERNMENT OF PUNJAB PUNJAB WATER REGULATION AND DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY NOTIFICATION The 6th June, 2024 No. 75340: PWRDA0GENL/37/2021-PWRDA BR/1635.-In exercise of the powers conferred by Section15 (2) of the Punjab Water Resources (Management and Regulation) Act, 2020 and all other powers enabling it in this behalf, the Punjab Water Regulation and Development Authority hereby issues the following amendment to the Punjab Groundwater Extraction and Conservation Directions, 2023 issued by notification no.75340/PWRDA-PWRD0GENL/37/2021-PWRDA- BR/418 Dated 27.01.2023. FIFTH AMENDMENT In the Punjab Groundwater Extraction and Conservation Directions, 2023: In Chapter 3, The following paragraph shall be added as para 3.20: "3.20 Permission for Unit with a stadium/cricket ground or other sports ground/sports court or golf course etc. In case a Unit comprises or contains a stadium/cricket ground or other sports ground/ sports court or golf course etc. then the User shall ensure an appropriate mechanism for rainwater harvesting i.e. storage and reuse (without artificial recharge), within such time period as stipulated by the Authority." 2.
