Building, Altinho as Public Records Office under the control of Director, Department of Archives. All the public records consulted regularly by the general public related to Birth, Baptism, Death and Marriage prior to 1914 available in this Department shall be made available at the Public Records Office at Altinho. The records pertaining to the Extracts of Birth, Marriage and Death of 1914- 1970 along with the travel document and captain of ports records and any other public record as decided by the Government from time to time which is available in this Department shall be made available for public from the Public Records Office at Altinho. This will be the Nodal office for the implementation of the Goa Public Records Act, 2023 ( Goa Act 39 of 2023). This is issued with the approval of the Government vide U. O.
