RAJASTHAN GAZETTE Extraordinary Kartika 22, Friday, Saka 1942&November 13, 2020 Local Self Government Department Notification Jaipur, November 12, 2020 NO.F.8(G) ( )(Rules)DLB/20/46853.-In exercise of the powers conferred by section 337 of the Rajasthan Municipalities Act, 2009 (Act No. 18 of 2009), the State Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Rajasthan Municipal (Subordinate and Ministerial Service) Rules, 1963, namely:- 1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Rajasthan Municipal (Subordinate and Ministerial Service) (Second Amendment) Rules, 2020. (2) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Insertion of new rule 8B.- After the existing rule 8A and before the existing rule 9 of the Rajasthan Municipal (Subordinate and Ministerial Service) rules, 1963, hereinafter referred to as the said rules, the following new rule 8B shall be inserted, namely:- "8B. Authorisation for selection.- Notwithstanding anything contained in rule 8A, the State Government may authorise the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, any Authority or Agency for selection of the candidates for appointment by direct recruitment to any post or categories of the posts." 3. Insertion of new rule 22AA.- After the existing rule 22A and before the existing rule 23 of the said rules, the following new rule 22AA shall be inserted, namely:- "22AA. Recruitment by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, any Authority or any Agency.- Notwithstanding any thing contained in these rules if recruitment to any post included in the service is assigned to the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, any Authority or Agency by the State Government, such Board, Authority or Agency, as the case may be, shall invite the applications and select the candidates for appointment to the post.".
