(EXTRA.), MAR. 24, 2021 (CHTR. 3, 1942 SAKA) 741 HARYANA GOVERNMENT ANIMAL HUSBANDRY & DAIRYING DEPARTMENT Notification The 24th March, 2021 THE PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF INFECTIOUS AND CONTAGIOUS DISEASES IN ANIMALS ACT, 2009 No. 1243-(CFMS)-AH-4-2021/1987.— In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of Section 6 read with Sub-section (1) and (2) of Section 7 of “The Prevention and Control of Infectious and Contagious Diseases in Animals Act, 2009 (27 of 2009)”, the Government of Haryana, hereby declares the District Yamuna Nagar as “controlled area” for restriction of movement of equine species (horses, donkeys, mules) within or outside the district and bordering States to prevent, control and contain the Glanders disease. The holding of races, fair, exhibition, games and gathering of such animals in Yamuna Nagar District is also prohibited.
