Action under Section 8(1)(b) against Shri Mohd. Ayub, Absconders

(Uie Gazette of Jjudia EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY l a - 898] No. 898] NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, APRIL 16, 2014/CHAITRA 26, 1936 gS A MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Revenue) ORDER New Delhi, the 15th April, 2014 S.O. 1091(E).—Whereas the Joint Secretary to the Government of India, specially empowered under sub- section (1) of Section 3 of the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1988 issued Detention Order No.801/19/2004- PITNDPS dated 14.03.2005 under the said sub-section directing that Shri Mohd. Ayub s/o Shri Abdul Rahim Chippa, Khanpura, Tehsil & Distt. Mandsaur (M.P.), be detained and kept in custody in Central Jail, Udaipur, Rajasthan with a view to preventing him from engaging in illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. 2. Whereas the Central Government has reason to believe that the aforesaid person has absconded or is concealing himself so that the said detention order cannot be executed; 3. Now, therefore, in exercise of powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 8 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby directs the aforesaid person to appear before Shri Laxman Kataria, Inspector, Office of the Superintendent, Preventive and Intelligence Cell, Central Bureau of Narcotics, Chhoti Sadari Road, Pratapgarh (Rajasthan) within 10 days of the publication of this order in the official Gazette.
