THE Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no. 1324/1X-6-2020-37Mis-2019, dated December 20, 2020 : Dated Lucknow, December 20, 2020 WHEREAS Government notification no. 1677/1X-6-2019-37Mis.-2019, dated December 21, 2019 was published to invite objections and suggestions on the proposal for including the arcas specified in the Schedule-1 below in the smaller urban area of Municipal Council Nawabganj, district Barabanki as required under sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916 (U.P. Act no. 2 of 1916); AND, WHEREAS, no objection or suggestion has been received within the stipulated period. Now, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers under clause (2) of Article 243-Q of the Constitution read with sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916 u.r. Act no.2 of 1916) the Governor is pleased to include the areas specified in Schedule-1 below in the smaller urban area of Municipal Council Nawabganj, District Barabanki for the purposes of Part 1X-A of the Constitution, and is further pleased to notify under clause (d) of Article 243-P of the Constitution that the_area specified in Schedule-1 below shall be the temitorial area of the said Municipal Council Nawabganj, district Barabanki with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette.
