Constitution of one each exclusive and dedicated Special Court of the Senior Most Civil Judge, Senior Division at Buldhana and Chandrapur districts

(2) Hon’ble High Court, Mumbai’s letter No. B(W)A-2106/2019/1704/32188, NOTIFICATION THE SPECIFIC RELIEF ACT, 1963 AS AMENDED BY THE SPECIFIC RELIEF (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2018. No. SPC-1318/C.R. 242/D. IX.—Whereas, the Government of Maharashtra, in exercise of the powers conferred under section 20B of the Specific Relief Act, 1963 as amended by the Amendment Act of 2018 (hereafter “the said Act”), in consultation with the High Court of Judicature of Bombay, vide notification referred above at Sr. No. 1 has designated Special Courts in 33 districts in the State of Maharashtra as mentioned in Annexure ‘A’ thereof, to try suits in respect of contracts relating to infrastructure projects ; And whereas, Hon’ble High Court, vide it’s letter referred above at Sr. No. 2, has requested the Government of Maharashtra to constitute one each exclusive and dedicated Special Court of the Senior Most Civil Judge, Senior Division at Buldhana and Chandrapur districts, instead of earlier Designated Courts, for dealing with infrastructure projects related contractual disputes. Now, therefore, in partial supersession of the notification referred above at Sr. No. 1, in so far as it relates to Buldhana and Chandrapur districts, the Government of Maharashtra, in consultation with the High Court of Judicature of Bombay, constitutes one each exclusive and ¦ÉÉMÉ SÉÉ®ú-+-95-1 dedicated Special Court of the Senior Most Civil Judge, Senior Division at Buldhana and Chandrapur districts, for dealing with infrastructure projects related contractual disputes, within the local limits of the respective entire District, for exercising the Jurisdiction and powers conferred by the said Act, instead of earlier Designated Courts.
