PETROLEUM AND NATURAL GAS REGULATORY BOARD NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 19th November, 2008 G.S.R. 800(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 61 of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board Act, 2006 (19 of 2006), the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board hereby makes the following regulations, namely :— 1. Short title and commencement. (7) These regulations may be called the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Authorizing Entities to Lay, Build, Operate or Expand City or Local Natural Gas Distribution Networks) Amendment Regulations, 2008. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Amendment in regulation 5. In the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Authorizing Entities to Lay, Build, Operate or Expand -City or Local Natural Gas Distribution Network) Regulations, 2008 (hereinafter referred as principal regulation), in the sub- regulation (8), the words “sixty days” shall be substituted by the words “one hundred and twenty days’. Amendment in regulation 18. In the principal regulation, in clause (a) of sub-regulation (2), the word “at” shall be deleted. Amendment in the Application-cum-bid in Schedule C. In the principal regulation, the instruction under point 5 for the Application-cum- bid specified in Schedule C is substituted by the following instruction: The entity is required to submit’'in duplicate its application-cum-bid with. all enclosures. A soft copy of the application-cum-bid with all enclosures in a compact disc with digital signatures shall also be submitted. Amendment in Schedule D. In the principal regulation, in the Acceptance of the Grant of Authorization specified under Schedule D, after the word “distribution”, the word “network” shall be inserted. Amendment in Schedule H. In the principal regulation, in point B of Part-Ill of Schedule H, after the words “common carrier’, for the word “and”, the word “or” shall be substituted. RATAN P. WATAL, Secy.
