No. 164/Modified/RRs/NAT/2014-15/Vol.I -In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (I) and (2) of section 35 of the National Trust for the Welfare of Persons with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities Act, 1999 (44 of 1999), the Board with the previous approval of the Central Government, hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Board of the Trust Regulations, 2001, namely:- 1. Short title and commencement :- (1) These regulations may be called the Board of the National Trust (Amendment) Regulations, 2017. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Board of the Trust Regulations, 2001,- (a) in regulation 3, for sub-regulation (2), the following sub- regulation shall be substituted, namely:- “ (2) Service Conditions – Appointment of officers and other employees, the number of posts, their educational qualifications, pay level, method of recruitment, age limit, period of probation and other matters relating to the said posts shall be as specified in the schedule annexed to these regulations.”; (b) after the forms, the following schedule shall be inserted, namely:- SCHEDULE Name of post Number of post Classification Pay level Whether selection post or non-selection post Age limit for direct recruits (1) Programme Director. *Subject to variation dependent on workload. Similarly, deputation its shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion. (2) The eligibility list for promotion shall be prepared with reference to the date of completion by the officers of the prescribed qualifying service in the respective post. (3) Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organisation or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding fifty- six years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
