Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management (Amendment) Rules, 2015

EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Economic Affairs) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 25th June, 2015 G.S.R. 523(E).--In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8 of the Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management Act, 2003 (39 of 2003), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management Rules, 2004, namely:- 1. (1) These rules may be called the Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management (Amendment) Rules, 2015. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management Rules, 2004 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), in rule 3,- (i) in sub-rule (1), - (a) for the figures, “2015”, the figures, “2018” shall be substituted; (b) for the figures, “0.6”, the figures “0.4” shall be substituted; (c) for the figures, “2013-2014”, the figures “2015-2016” shall be substituted; (ii) in sub-rule (2), - (a) for the figures, “0.5”, the figures “0.4” shall be substituted; (b) for the figures, “2013-2014”, the figures “2015-2016” shall be substituted; (c) for the figures, “2017”, the figures “2018” shall be substituted; (iii) in sub-rule (5), - (a) for the figures, “2015”, the figures, “2018” shall be substituted; (b) for the figures, “0.8”, the figures “0.5” shall be substituted; (c) for the figures, “2013-2014”, the figures “2015-2016” shall be substituted; 3. In the rule 7 of the said rules, --- (i) for the figures “2012-13”, the figures “2015-16” shall be substituted; (ii) in sub-rule (ii), for figures, “60”, the figures “70” shall be substituted; (iii) in sub-rule (iii), for figures, “60”, the figures “70” shall be substituted. 4. In the Form F-2 of the said rules, in paragraph “E: Targets for the ensuing year”, for the figures, “60”, the figures “70” shall be substituted. RAJAT BHARGAVA, Jt. Secy.
