No. VPM. 2019/CR-84/PR-4(22).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (g) of article 243 of the Constitution of India, read with section 4 of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act (III of 1959), and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf, and in supersession of all the previous notifications and instruments issued in that behalf, and after consultation with the Standing Committee of the Zilla Parishad, Amravati and Village Panchayat and the Gram Sabha Malhara in Achalpur Tahasil of Amravati District, the Governor of Maharashtra hereby specifies the 2nd November, 2019 to be the date from which each of the local areas comprising revenue villages of Malhara and Mhasona in Achalpur Tahasil of Amravati District, specified in column (3) of the Schedule appended hereto, shall be the distinct villages and shall be known by the name of the villages Malhara and Mhasona, respectively, as specified in column (2) thereof, for the purposes of Part IX of the Constitution :— Schedule Sr. No. Name of the village Revenue village 1 Malhara Malhara 2 Mhasona Mhasona By order and in the name of the Governor of Maharashtra, Deputy Secretary to Government.
