Offences and Classes of Offences to be investigated by Vigilance Establishment GOVERNMENT OF UTTAR PRADESH VIGILANCE SECTION-2 In pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution of India, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no.2614/39 (2)--217-64, dated October 3, 1975 : No. 2614/39 (2)-217-64 October 3, 1975 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the U.P. Vigilance Establishment Act. 1965 (U.P. Act no. VII of 1965), the Governor is pleased to specify the following also to be an offence and class of offence which may be investigated by the Uttar Pradesh Vigilance Establishment in addition to those already specified in notification no. 592/39-VGL-65 dated February 12, 1965: An offence punishable under section 342 of the Indian Penal Code.
