No. REG/T4S/NGPL/1/2012.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 61 of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Act, 2006 (19 of 2006), the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board hereby makes the following a > regulations to amend the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Technical Standards and Specifications including Safety Standards for Natural Gas Pipelines) Regulations, 2009, namely -— 1. Short title and commencement. (1) These regulations may be called the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Technical Standards and Specifications including Safety Standards for Natural Gas Pipelines) Amendment Regulations, 2012. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In para 4 i.e. Inspection of Cathodic Protection System under Pipeline Maintenance of Schedule 1E of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Technical Standards and Specifications including Safety Standards for Natural Gas Pipelines) Regulations, 2009, for the sentence “Cathodic protection system parameter like pipe to soil potential and TR unit data shall be recorded at least once per month at all CP test stations”, the following shall be substituted : “Cathodic protection system parameter like pipe to soil potential and TR unit data shall be recorded at least once per month at all CP feed points and once every quarter at all test stations for monitoring of ON potential” RATAN P.
