KARP /2024-CX-3, dated April2é, 2024 for general information. NOTIFICATION Lucknow; Dated: April?’ , 2024 WHEREAS the premises named, detailed and described in the Schedule below is a place used for supplying petroleum products, diesei/petrol from Bina Refinery, Madhya Pradesh to Panki, Kanpur Terminal through pipeline ; AND WHEREAS an infermation with respect thereto, or the destruction or obstruction thereof, or interference therewith, would be useful to an enemy ; AND WHEREAS in pursuance of clause (1) of Article 258 of the Constitution of India, the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has vide Notification no. $.0.1285 dated 4 th May, 1963, published in Part II, section 3, sub -gection (ii) of the Gazette of india, Extraordinary dated 11 ' May, 1963, entrusted the functions of the Central Government to the State Government of Uttar Pradesh in relation to any matter specified in sub-clauses (c) and (d} of clause (8) of section 2 of the Official Secrets Act, 1923 (Act no.19 of 1923) ; NOW, THEREFORE , in exercise of the powers under sub-clause (d) of clause (8) of section 2 of the aforesaid Act read with Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs Notification no. $.0.1285, dated 04 May, 1963, the Governor is pleased to declare the premises named, detailed and described in the Schedule given below to be a "prohibited place “ for the purposes of the aforesaid Act and the Governor is further pleased to direct that a copy of this notification in English and in the vernacular of the locality be affixed to the said premises.
