No. PRO-0724/C.R.35/Spl.-2.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and (2) of section 14 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (46 of 2023), and in supersession of all the existing notifications, orders or instruments issued in this behalf, the Government of Maharashtra hereby, with effect from the date of issue of notification,— (a) appoints the persons holding the post of Additional Collector and Residential Deputy Collector for the time being in a district to be Executive Magistrate; and (b) appoints each such Executive Magistrate to be an Additional District Magistrate ; and (c) directs that each such Additional District Magistrate shall have all the powers of a District Magistrate under the said Sanhita or under any other Law for the time being in force.
