Pipetine ; a AND WHEREAS an. information with respect thereto, of the destruction or obstruction thereof, or interference therewith, would be useful to an enemy ; AND WHEREAS in pursuance of clause (1) of Article 258 of the Constitution of India, the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India’ has vide Notification no. $.0.1285 dated 40 May, 1963, published in Part Il, Section 3, Sub-section{ii) of the Gazette of India, Extraordinary dated 11" May, 1963, entrusted the functions of the Central Government to the State Government of Uttar Pradesh in. relation to any matter specified in sub-clauses (c) and (d} of clause (8) of section 2 of the Official Secrets Act, 1923 (Act no.19 of 1923) ; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise.of the powers under sub-clause (d) of clause (8) of section 2 of the Official Secrets Act, 1923 {Act NO.19 of 1923}, read with Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs Notifi cation NO.S.O. 1285, dated 04 May, 1963 the Governor is pleased to declare the premises named, detaited and described in the schedule given below to be a “Prohibited Place" for the purposes of the aforesaid Act and the Governer is further pleased to direct that a capy of ins Notification in English and in the vernacular of the locality be affixed to the said premises. .
