EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 5792] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, DECEMBER 23, 2022/ PAUSA 2, 1944 MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 23rd December, 2022 S.O. 6035(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (3) of section 3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the Order of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Environment and Forests, number S.O. 489(E), dated the 30th April, 2003, published in the Gazette of India, extra ordinary, Part II, Section 3, In the said Order, in paragraph 1, for the words “for a period of nineteen years and eight months”, the words "for a period of twenty one years and eight months” shall be substituted.
