The stamp duty on lease deeds for land allocated for the development of civil enclaves in Kanpur

Uttar Pradesh Shasan Stamp Evam Registration Anubhag-2 The Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of Government notification no. 11/2025/882/94-2-2025- 700(42)/2025 dated 17 July, 2025 : Notification Order No. 11/2025/882/94-2-2025-700(42)/2025 Lucknow, Dated : 17 July, 2025 In exercise of the power under clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (Act no. 2 of 1899) as amended in its application to the State of Uttar Pradesh, the Governor, with effect from the date of the publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, is pleased to remit the stamp duty of Rs. 11,25,77,360.00 payable on the instrument of lease/lease agreement (under Article 35 of Schedule I-B of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899) to be executed by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in favour of Airports Authority of India, relating to the 48.86 acres of land identified for the development of civil enclave at the airport of Indian Air Force situated in district Kanpur Nagar.
