Uttar Pradesh Shasan In pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution of India, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of Government Notification no.-1428/X1-2-23-9(47)/17-T.C.-242-U.P.Act-1 -2017-Ordex-(300)- 2023 dated October 3§, 2023. NOTIFICATION ' Lucknow: Dated: October 3§, 2023 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (U.P. Act no 1 of 2017), the Governor, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby makes the following further amendments in Notification no. KA.NI.-2-844/X1-9(47)/17-U.P.Ac(—l-20]7-0rder—(| 1)-2017 dated 30.06.2017, namely: In the said notification, in the Table, - (i) against serial number 5, in column (2), in item (2), in sub-item (i), after the words “Department of Posts”, the words and brackets “and the Ministry of Railways (Indian Railways)“shall be inserted; (ii) against serial number 5A, in column (2), after the words “Services supplied by the Central Government”, the words and brackets “[excluding the Ministry of Railways (Indian Railways)]” shall be inserted. 2 This notification shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the 20™ day of October, 2023.
