Notification regarding grant of exemption to factories of the state employing women workers, 19-02-2024 (Factory)

UTTAR PRADESH SHASAN SHRAM ANUBHAG-3 The Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of Notification no. 4% /36-03-2024-17(Sa.)/2023. dated 19 February, 2024 for general information : NOTIFICATION No. 295/36-03-2024-17(Sa.)/2023 Lucknow ; Dated : )q February, 2024 In exercise of the powers under proviso to clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 66 of the Factories Act, 1948 (Act no. 63 of 1948) | the Governor is pleased to make the following amendment in Government Notification no. 647/36-3-2022-17(Sa.)/2022 dated 27 May, 2022 : Amendment In the aforesaid notification , — i. for serial nos. 7, 9 and 13 and entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers along with the entries relating thereto shall be substituted, namely :- 7. During the working hours between 07:00 PM to 06:00 AM, not less than three women workers shall be employed in the premises or department of the factory. 9. The employer shall send a monthly report electronically or otherwise to the Inspector of factories of the region concerned about the details of women workers engaged during night shift and shall also send to the Inspector an express report of any incident of sexual harassment. 13. Where the employer of a factory violates any condition specified in this notification, a notice shall be issued to the employer identifying the violations and directing the employer to take steps correcting the violations identified in the said notice . giving the employer seven days time to comply with this notice. ™ il after the existing serial no.13, the following new serial no. 14 shall be inserted, namely:- “ 14, CCTV cameras shall be installed in the factory premises and in the transportation used for women workers in the night shift.
