No. CRC. 0413/466/C.R. 87/Desk 11.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 14 and 19 of the Maharashtra Civil Courts Act (XIV of 1869) and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf, and in modification of all earlier notification issued in this behalf, in so far as they relates to the revenue talukas of Shrigonda , Karjat and Jamkhed in Ahmednagar District, the Government of Maharashtra hereby directs that with effect from the 14th July 2019. (a) there shall be a Court of Additional District Judge at Shrigonda and the said Court shall be presided over by the District Judge-1, Shrigonda ; (b) the local limits of the ordinary jurisdiction shall be co-extensive with the existing jurisdiction of the Court of Civil Judge, Senior Division and Junior Division, Shrigonda and the Court of Civil Judge Junior Division, Karjat and Jamkhed, comprising the revenue talukas of Shrigonda, Karjat and Jamkhed in Ahmednagar District ; (c) all the powers of the Principal District Judge, Ahmednagar shall vest in the said District Judge-1, Shrigonda except those vested in the Principal District Judge under Section 9 of the said Act and his power to assign to District Judges at Ahmednagar or withdraw unto himself or to assign to another Court of competent jurisdiction, such matters as he thinks fit.
