Stage Carriage Buses Tax

GOVERNMENT OF PUNJAB DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT (TRAN PORT-II BRANCH) Notification No. 3/2/2011-2T2/S§O .- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Punjab Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, l 924 (Punjab Act No. 4 of 1924) (amended, 2007) and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to make the following amendment in Government of Punjab, Department of Transport, Notification No. 3/2/201 l-2T2/ 104757/1 dated 18.08.2017 namely:- Amendment In the said notification, under Sr. No. 1 (a) the heading Stage Carriage Buses registered in State of Punjab and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted as under:- Stage Carriage Buses registered in State of Punjab : Rate of Motor Vehicles Tax per K.M. per vehicle per day in Rs. 1 Big buses (a) Ordinary Buses Rs. 2.69 2. Ordinary Buses with seating capacity upto 35 seats to be run by State Transport Undertaking in Rural Areas. The operation of which falling on the link road exceed 50% otherwise Motor Vehicle Tax shall be charged as per l(a) above.
