Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub- section (1) of Section 10 of the Punjab Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1958 (Punjab Act No. 15 of 1958) and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to fix Wednesday, falling on 10 t July, 2024 to bea ‘closed day’ for the employees who are voters of 34-Jalandhar West (SC) Assembly Constituency working in Shop and Commercial Establishments in the of the State of Punjab. However, 10th July, 2024 (Wednesday), Shall not bea ‘closed day’ in lieu of weekly offfalling between7 ᵗh July, 2024 and 13 t * July, 2024.
