(P) No. 6/2006/WRD dated 18" February, 2006, and published as S.R.O. No. 154/2006 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No. 389 dated 18" February, 2906; © This is a digitally signed Gazette. Ramachandran Nair, former Judge of the High Court of Kerala was appointed as the Chairman of the Kerala Dam Safety Authority as per notification issued under G.O.(P) No. 102/2012/WRD dated 22™ December, 2012 and published as S.R.O No.880/2012 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.1533 dated 22™ December, 2012 and on the expiry of his term, Government have extended his tenure for a further period of four years or till he attains the age of 70 years, whichever is earlier, as per notification issued under G.O.(P) No. 1/2017/WRD dated 10° February, 2017 and published as S.R.O. No.70/2017 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No. 251 dated 10" February, 2017; AND WHEREAS, the term of office of the Chairman of the Authority expired on 30° September, 2020 as per clause (ii) of sub-rule(1) of rule 23 of the Kerala Irrigation and Water Conservation Rules, AND WHEREAS, Governmient have decided to extend the tenure of Shri. C.N. Ramachandran Nair for.a further period of a one year with effect from 1* October, 2020 and orders were issued as per AND WHEREAS, clause (ii) of Sub-rule (1) of rule 23 of the Kerala Irrigation and Water Conservation Rules, 2005 has been amended with effect from 1* October, 2020 as per notification issued under G.O.(P) No.19/2020/WRD dated 12" November, 2020 and published as S.R.O, No.819/2020 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.2773 dated 12" November, 2020; NOW, THEREFORE , in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 57 of the Kerala Irrigation and Water Conservation Act, 2003( Act 31 of 2003) read with sub-section(1) of section 58 thereof, the Government of Kerala hereby appoint Justice Shri. C.N. Ramachandran Nair, former judge of the High Court of Kerala, residing at 3B, BHAVANI, Kunnumpuram, Kakkanad. P.O., Kochi-682030 as the Chairman of the Kerala Dam Safety Authority constituted as per notification issued under G.O (P) No.6/2006/WRD dated 18" February, 2006 and published as S.R.O. No.154/2006 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.389 dated 18" February, 2006, for a period of One year with effect from 1* October, 2020.
