Notification under the Punjab Liquor Import, Export, Transport and Possession Order, 1932.

EXTRACT FROM HARYANA GOVERNMENT GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY DATED THE 10 TH JUNE, 2022 HARYANA GOVERNMENT EXCISE AND TAXATION DEPARTMENT Notification The 10 th June, 2022 No.30/X-1/P.A.1/1914/S.58/2022.- In exercise of the powers conferred under sections 16, 17 and 18 and sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 58 of the Haryana Excise Act, 1914 (Punjab Act 1 of 1914), the Governor of Haryana hereby makes the following orders further to amend the Punjab Liquor Import, Export, Transport and Possession Order, 1932, in their application to the State of Haryana, namely :- 1. (1) These orders may be called the Punjab Liquor Import, Export, Transport and Possession (Haryana Amendment) Orders, 2022. (2) They shall come into force with effect from the 12 th day of June, 2022. 2. In the Punjab Liquor Import, Export, Transport and Possession Orders, 1932, in order 1, in clause (b), for the first proviso, the following proviso shall be substituted, namely:- “(1) Foreign Liquor and Beer (whether imported or made in India) when imported under clause (a) shall not exceed in quantities of 12 bottles of foreign liquor each capacity of 750 milliliters, 12 bottles of beer (whether imported or made in India), each capacity of 650 milliliters, 12 bottles of Imported Foreign Liquor (IFL) each capacity of 750 milliliters, 12 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Spirit (IMFS) each capacity of 750 milliliters, 12 bottles of Rum (whether imported or made in India), each capacity of 750 milliliters, 12 bottles of wine (whether imported or made in India), each capacity of 750 milliliters, 12 bottles of Vodka/Gin/Cider (whether imported or made in India), each capacity of 750 milliliters and 6 bottles of Country Liquor each capacity of 750 milliliters of different sizes total quantity not exceeding ANURAG RASTOGI, Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Haryana, Excise and Taxation Department.
