The annual fee shall be as followsz—v r.) . l. The annual fee for any variety of the genera and species other than extant varieties and farmers varieties as specified in clause (a) ofseclion l4 ofthe Act shall be Rs 00 (Rupees two thousand on!y) plus 0.2 per cent ofthe sales value of the seeds of the registered variety during the prevxous year plus l per cent of roya Iv: if any, received during the previotg year from the sale proceeds of seeds of the registered variety. l, The annual fee for the extant variety shall be, — (a) for extant variety notified under Section 5 ofthe SoedsAct, 1966 (54 of l 966), the annual fee shall be Rs. 2000 (Rupees two thousand only); (b) for extant variety otherthan the category specified in (a) above, the annual fee shall be Rs. 2000 (Rupees two thousand only) plus 0.1 per cent of the sales value of the seeds of the registered variety during the previous year plus 0.5 per cent ofthe royalty, if any. received during the previous year Earn the sale proceeds ofseeds cfihe registered variety.
