No. VPM-2023/CR-120/PR-4(22).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (g) of article 243 of the Constitution of India, read with section 4 of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act (III of 1959), and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf, and in supersession of all the previous notifications or instruments issued in that behalf, and after consultation with the Administrator, discharging the functions of the Standing Committee of the Zilla Parishad, Ahmednagar and Village Panchayat and Gram Sabha Benawadi, in Karjat Tahasil of Ahmednagar District, the Governor of Maharashtra hereby specifies the 11th October, 2023, to be the date from which each of the local areas comprising revenue villages Benawadi and Kolvadi in Karjat Tahasil, in Ahmednagar District, specified in column (3) of the Schedule appended hereto, shall be the distinct villages and shall be known by the name of the villages Benawadi and Kolvadi, respectively, as specified in column (2) thereof, for the purposes of Part IX of the Constitution.
