Amendment Notification dated 16.01.2024 to the Notification of the District Disaster Management Authority.

Government of Uttar Pradesh Revenue Section—11 No. 92/Te-11-2024-01 (12008 Lucknow: Dated 16 January, 2024 Notification In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 25 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, read with Section 21 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (Act No. 10 of 1897), the Governor hereby makes the following amendments in Government Notification No. 4141/1- 11-2008-01 (P)-2008 dated 10.12.2008 and Notification No. 69/1-11-2017-1 (P)/2008 dated Amendment In accordance with the provisions of clause (c) of sub-section (2) of the aforesaid section, the Governor hereby nominates the following ex-officio member to the concerned District Disaster Management Authority, by including the same in the list of ex-officio members nominated in the above-mentioned notifications:- 1. In place of the authority nominated at Serial No. 1, the Chief Development Officer. In place of the authority nominated at Serial No. 2, in districts where a Municipal Corporation exists, the Municipal Commissioner shall be nominated; and in districts where there is no Municipal Corporation, the authority previously nominated shall continue as such.
