RAJASTHAN GAZETTE Extraordinary Pausa 10, Thursday, Saka 1942-December 31, 2020 Local Self Government Department NOTIFICATION Jaipur, December 31, 2020 No:F.8(G)(62 )Rules/DLB/20/48886 - In exercise of the powers conferred by section 337 of the Rajasthan Municipalities Act, 2009 (Act No. 18 of 2009), The State Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Rajasthan Municipalities (Administrative and Technical) Service Rules, 1963, namely:- 1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Rajasthan Municipalities (Administrative and Technical) Service (Second Amendment) Rules, 2020. (2) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the official Gazette. 2. Amendment of Rule 8.- After the existing rule 8D and before the existing rule 9 of the Rajasthan Municipalities (Administrative and Technical) Service Rules, 1963 the following new rule 8E shall be inserted, namely:- "8-E. Reservation of vacancies for ministerial employees of the Department of Local Self Government and members of the Rajasthan Municipal Subordinate and Ministerial Service..- (1) Reservation of vacancies in direct recruitment to the post of Executive Officer Grade-IV and Revenue Officer Grade-II shall be,- (a) 5% for employees of the ministerial service of the Department of Local Self Government; and (b) 7½% for members of the Rajasthan Municipal Subordinate and Ministerial Service. (2) The reservation mentioned in sub-rule (1) shall be treated as horizontal reservation and it shall be adjusted in the respective category to which the employee belongs. If a vacancy reserved under sub-rule (1) remains unfilled due to non-availability of eligible and suitable employee in a particular year, the vacancies so reserved for them shall be filled in accordance with the normal procedure."
