EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3380] NEW DELHI, MONDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2020/KARTIKA 4, 1942 MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 26th October, 2020 S.O. 3811(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986) and in pursuance of the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Environment and Forests, number S.O. 1533(E), dated the th September, 2006, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide number S.O. 3288(E), dated the th October, 2017, namely:- In the said notification, - (i) after paragraph 2, the following paragraph shall be inserted, namely: - “2A. Notwithstanding anything contained in paragraph 2, the Chairman and Members of the Authority, Madhya Pradesh shall hold office for a term up to the 9 th April, 2021 or till the constitution of new Authority, Madhya Pradesh, whichever is earlier.”; (ii) after paragraph 6, the following paragraph shall be inserted, namely: - “6A. Notwithstanding anything contained in paragraph 6, the Chairman and Members of the SEAC, Madhya Pradesh shall hold office for a term up to the 9 th April, 2021 or till the constitution of new SEAC, Madhya Pradesh, whichever is earlier.”.
