Regarding making the system of Aadhaar authentication effective in the process of property registration

UTTAR PRADESH SHASAN STAMP EVAM REGISTRATION ANUBHAG-1 In pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of Government notification no. 12/2022/1469/94-1-2022-312(125)/2022 dated : 16 December, 2022 NOTIFICATION No. 12/2022/1469/94-1-2022-312(125)/2022 Lucknow, Dated : 16 December, 2022 In exercise of the powers under the provisions of sub-clause (ii) of clause (b) of sub- section (4) of section 4 of the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery Of Financial And Other Subsidies, Benefits And Services) Act, 2016 (Act no. 18 of 2016) read with rule 5 of the Aadhaar Authentication for Good Governance ( Social Welfare, Innovation, Knowledge) Rules, 2020, and in pursuance of the approval given by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, through letter no. 13(4)/2020-EG-II (Vol.-IV) dated 02.11.2022, the Governor, for the purpose of identifying the parties with their consent in the process of registration of documents under the Registration Act, 1908, permits the procedure of Aadhaar authentication to be adopted in the manner prescribed in the said letter. 2. In the process of registration of documents under the provisions of the Registration Act, 1908, the system of obtaining consent of the parties for Aadhaar authentication shall be established by the Inspector General of Registration, Uttar Pradesh.
