Minor Head 800-Other Receipts Sub Head 96-Scrutiny Fee for Projects Seeking Environmental Clearance from State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA) Description of Scheme in Hindi jkT; Lrjh; i;kZoj.k izHkko vkdyu izkf/kdj.k ls i;kZoj.k eatwjh dh ekax djus Object Head 00-No Standard object head HARYANA GOVERNMENT ENVIRONMENT & CLIMATE CHANGE DEPARTMENT Notification The 14th October, 2021 No. DE & CCH/3060.— Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Government of India in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section-3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986) and in pursuance of their Notification Number S.O. 1533 (E) dated the 14th September, 2006, have constituted the State Level, State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA) and a Committee namely State Expert Appraisal Committee (SEAC) to consider and take decisions on the projects that come under Category “B” as per the said notification at the State level. SEAC shall further scrutinize interalia, the applications proposed under Category “B”, examine and suggest suitable terms of reference after hearing the proposal and reports of Public hearing and examine all other relevant documents. The said authority shall also take decision on the recommendation of the Committee for grant of Environmental clearance. Whereas after careful consideration, it is decided by the State Government to impose scrutiny fees for projects seeking clearance of the State level State Environment Impact Assessment Authority, under the Environment Impact Assessment Notification Number S.O. 1533(E) dated 14th September, 2006 in the following manner:- Project Cost Scrutiny Fee (in Rs.) Upto 5 crores 50,000 5-25 crores 1 lac 25-100 crores 1.5 lac More than 100 crores 2 lac Major Minerals like iron, Bauxite chromites, lime stone, coal etc. area more than 5 hac. 2 lac Major Minerals like iron, Bauxite chromites, lime stone, coal etc. area upto 5 hac. 1 lac Minor Minerals like quatz, stone and graphite etc. area more than 5 hac. 1.5 lac Minor Minerals like quartz, stone and graphite etc. area upto 5 hac. 75,000 HARYANA GOVT. (EXTRA.), OCT. 14, 2021 (ASVN. 22, 1943 SAKA) 3587 The project proponent will pay scrutiny fees in the shape of Bank Draft payable in favour of the Member Secretary, State Environment Impact Assessment Authority, Haryana, at the time of applying for environmental clearance of the projects under the EIA Notification, 2006. This will also be applicable to all the cases pending with the Authority or the Committee.
