The Meghalaya Police Accountability Commission Remuneration Rules,2013

The 23rd January, 2014 No.HPL.179/20/57.- In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 131 of the Meghalaya Police Act, 2010, the State Government is pleased to make the following Rules, namely: Short title and commencement: (1) These Rules may be called the Meghalaya Police Accountability Commission Remuneration Rules, (2) They shall come into force from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. Definitions: In these Rules, unless there is anything repugnant to the context (a) ‘Act’ means the Meghalaya Police Act, 2010 (b) ‘State Government’ means the Government of Meghalaya. (c) ‘Official Gazette’ means the Gazette of Meghalaya. Remuneration: The remuneration of the Chairperson and Members will be as follows:- (a) Remuneration for the Chairperson will be at the rate of last pay drawn(Gross) minus pension drawn (Basic plus Dearness Allowance plus any other Allowances), if any, P.M (b) In case of a Member, if he is a retired Government Servant it shall be the last pay drawn (Gross) minus pension drawn P.M. In other cases, it shall be Rs.30.000/- (Rupees thirty thousand) per month. (c) Travelling allowance/Daily Allowance shall be @ admissible to Group 1 Officers of the State Government.
