(EXTRA.), APR. 1, 2020 (CHTR 12, 1942 SAKA) HARYANA GOVERNMENT EXCISE AND TAXATION DEPARTMENT Notification The 1st April, 2020 No. 34/X-l/P.A.1/1914/S.58/2020.— In exercise of the power conferred by Sub-section (1) and Sub-section (2) read with the proviso to Sub-section (3) of Section 58 of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914 (Punjab Act 1 of 1914), the Governor of Haryana hereby makes the following rules, namely:- 1. (1) These rules may be called the Haryana Excise (Amendment) Rules, 2020. (2) They shall come into force on the 1st April, 2020. 2. In the Haryana Excise Rules, 2019 (hereinafter called the said rules), for rule 5, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:- “5. Number of L-1BF licenses.- The maximum number of L-1BF licenses shall not be fixed for the financial year 2020-2021.”. 3. In the said rules, for rule 6, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:- “6. Number of retail outlets for IMFL/CL (L-2/L-14A).- The maximum number of retail outlets for Indian Made Foreign Liquor/Country Liquor (L-2/L-14A) shall be two thousand six hundred (2600) for the financial year 2020-2021.”. 4. In the said rules, for rule 7, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:- “7. District-wise wholesale outlets for IMFL/CL (L-1/L-13).- The maximum number of district-wise wholesale outlets for Indian Made Foreign Liquor/Country Liquor (L-1/L-13), for the financial year 2020-2021 shall be such as specified in Annexure-II.”. 5. In the said rules, in Annexure-I, under columns 1,2,3,4,5 and 6, after serial number 8 and entries thereagainst, the following serial number and entries thereagainst shall be inserted, namely: - “8A L-2BF Retail sale of Imported Foreign Liquor (BIO) by the Retail Outlets of Indian Made Foreign Liquor i.e. L-2 licenses and Bar licenses i.e. Fixed fee Collector Collector.”. 6.
