MAY 13, 2016 (VAISAKHA 23, 1938 SAKA) DEPARTMENT OF FOOD AND SUPPLIES AND CONSUMER AFFAIRS AND LEGAL METROLOGY Order The 13th May, 2016 No. 7/3/87-HII(4)-2G16/11420.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 40 (1) and (2) (a) of the National Food Security Act, 2013, the Administrator, U.T., Chandigarh is pleased to lay down the following eligibility criteria for enrolment as Priority Households (PH) and Antyodaya Anna Yojna Households (AAY) under the National Food Security Act, 2013 : . 1. The households having gross annual income upto ? 1.50 lacs from all sources for inclusion as Priority Households and ? 60,000 from all sources for inclusion as AAY households. 2. The beneficiary shall be the resident of U.T., Chandigarh. Any proof of residence of U.T., Chandigarh issued by any Government Department/Organization under the Chandigarh Administration or the Government of India. 3. Self-undertaking by the applicant to claim eligibility. 4. No requirement of No Objection Certificate (NOC) or Surrender Certificate for enrollment. 5. Copy of Aadhaar linked bank account of the applicant i.e. eldest women of the family. 6. Copies of Aadhaar cards of all family members necessarily carrying Chandigarh address. Besides, irrespective of income limits as fixed above, the Socially disadvantaged households Transgenders, All HIV+ive, Leprosy affected are included in Priority Households. In addition, the Department would enroll all Persons with disability under Persons with Disability Act, 2005, Destitute Women and her children and Senior Citizens availing financial assistance scheme under Social Welfare Department as their income eligibility is same as that of Priority Households. VAT payees under Punjab Value Added Tax Act, 2005 as applicable to U.T-. Chandigarh. 3. Consuming electricity on average of 300 units per month. 4. Having a light (four wheeler) or heavy vehicle. 5. Having more than one acre land, 7. Have sought a Ioan of ? 10 lacs or above in last two years. 8. Owns residential plot or a constructed house. The order shall be applicable with immediate effect.
