LAW AND JUDICIARY DEPARTMENT Madam Cama Marg, Hutatma Rajguru Chowk, Mantralaya, Mumbai 400 032, dated the 28th March 2019 NOTIFICATION MAHARASHTRA CIVIL COURTS ACT, 1869. No. SANKIRNA 0716/532/C.R. 87/DESK-11.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 21, 22A and 23 of the Maharashtra Civil Courts Act (XIV of 1869), and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf; and in partial modification of earlier notifications issued in this behalf, in so far as they relate to the revenue Tahsil of Rahata in Ahmednagar District, subordinate to the District Court of Ahmednagar, the Government of Maharashtra hereby, with effect from 31st March 2019 directs that,— (a) There shall be a Civil Court at Rahata, subordinate to the District Court, Ahmednagar in Ahmednagar District ; (b) The said Court shall be presided over by the Civil Judge (Senior Division), who shall hold his Court at Rahata; and (c) The local limits of the ordinary jurisdiction of the Civil Judge (Senior Division), Rahata, shall comprise of the areas covered within the local limits of the Court of Civil Judge (Junior Division) at Rahata and the work from the said areas which was heretofore included within the local limits of the ordinary and special jurisdiction of the Civil Judge (Senior Division), Kopargaon shall be excluded therefrom.
