UTTAR PRADESH SHASAN STAMP EVAM NIBANDHAN ANUBHAG-2 The Governor is pleased to order the publication the following English translation of Government Notification no. 11/2024/459/94-S.R.-2-2024-700(23)/2024, Dated 19 June, 2024 Notification Order Lucknow, Dated : 19 June, 2024 In exercise of the powers under clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section-9 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (Act no. 2 of 1899) as amended from time to time in its application to Uttar Pradesh read with section-21 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (Act no. 10 of 1897). Hon'ble Governor is pleased to remit, with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette, the stamp duty chargeable under clause (b) of Article-40 of Schedule 1-B of the said Act of 1899, on the mortgage deed of loan amount Rs. 12068 crore in respect of the project of Neyveli Uttar Pradesh Power Limited situated at Ghatampur, Kanpur Nagar.
