Amendment of Rule 6 regarding deletion of Planning Commission from Standing Committee on SDF dated 13th January, 2016

TilE GAZETTE OF INDIA·: EXTRAORDINARY [PART !I-SEC. )(il] Ml~lSTRY Of COI\Sli~lER AFFAIRS, FOOD Ai'\0 PUBLIC DISTRIBUTIO\'\ (Department of Food nnd Public Distribution) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 13th January, 2016 G.S.R. 23(E).-ln exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Sugar Development Fund Act, 1982 (4 of 1982), the Central Govcmment hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Sugar Development fund Rules, 1983, namely:- !. (l) These rules may be called the Sugar Development Fund lAmcndment) Rules. 2016. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Of!icial Gazette. In the Sugar Development Fund Rules, 1983,- (i) in mle 6. item (5) shall be omitted; (ii) in m!e 1:5, in sub-rule (1), in the proviso, for the words, t1gures and brackets, "the Standing Research Advisory Committee of the D~velopment Council for Sugar tndustry e:;tablhihed under section 6 of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951 )" , the words "the sub~committee for Grant-in-aid for Research project constituted under the Committee through an order to be issued by the Central Government" shall be substituted. Note: - The principal rules were published in the Gazette of India vide notification number G.S.R. 752 (E) doted the 27'" September. 19~3 and last amended vide notification number G.S.R. ~47·(E), dated the 9'" November, 2015.
