The Punjab Fiscal (Haryana Amendment) Orders, 2023.

(EXTRA.), JUNE 9, 2023 (JYST. 19, 1945 SAKA) 1407 Øe la[;k HARYANA GOVERNMENT EXCISE AND TAXATION DEPARTMENT Order The 9th June, 2023 No. 20/X-l/P.A.l/1914/Ss.31 and 32/2023.— In exercise of the powers conferred under sections 31 and 32 of the Haryana Excise Act, 1914 (Punjab Act 1 of 1914), the Governor of Haryana hereby makes the following orders further to amend the Punjab Excise Fiscal Orders, 1932, in their application to the State of Haryana, namely : - 1. (1) These orders may be called the Punjab Excise Fiscal (Haryana Amendment) Orders, 2023. (2) They shall come into force with effect from the 12th day of June, 2023. 2. In the Punjab Excise Fiscal Orders, 1932 (hereinafter called the said orders), in order 1,-for the existing table, the following table shall be substituted, namely,- “Table Serial number Kind of liquor or spirit Rate of duty “1. Indian Made Foreign Spirit Brands with Ex-Distillery Price from ₹1051 upto ₹1200 per case ₹ 135.00 per proof litre 4. Indian Made Foreign Spirit Brands with Ex-Distillery Price from ₹1201 upto ₹1400 per case ₹ 140.00 per proof litre 5. Indian Made Foreign Spirit Brands with Ex-Distillery Price from ₹1401 upto ₹1600 per case ₹ 145.00 per proof litre 6. Indian Made Foreign Spirit Brands with Ex-Distillery Price from ₹1601upto ₹2500 per case ₹ 150.00 per proof litre 7. Indian Made Foreign Spirit Brands with Ex-Distillery Price from ₹2501 upto ₹3500 per case ₹ 155.00 per proof litre 8. Indian Made Foreign Spirit Brands with Ex-Distillery Price from ₹3501 upto ₹5000 per case ₹ 185.00 per proof litre 1408 HARYANA GOVT. GAZ. Indian Made Foreign Spirit Brands with Ex-Distillery Price from ₹5001 upto ₹7000 per case ₹ 200.00 per proof litre 10. Indian Made Foreign Spirit Brands with Ex-Distillery Price from ₹7001 and above per case ₹ 185.00 per proof litre 11. Potable Rectified Spirit and Extra Neutral Alcohol for Country Liquor and Indian Made Foreign Liquor ₹ 20.00 per proof litre 12. Cider ₹5.00 per bottle of 350 mili liter.”. 3. In the said orders, in order 1-A, in the table, under columns 2 and 3, against serial number 4, 5 and 6, for the existing entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:- “4. IMFS/IMFL ₹1.00 per proof litre 5. RTB ₹1.00 per bulk litre 6. Draught Beer ₹1.00 per bulk litre.”. 4. In the said orders, in order 1-E, in the table, under columns 2 and 3,- (i) against serial number 3, for the existing entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:- “3. Ready to drink Beverages ₹10.00 per bulk litre”; (ii) against serial number 7, for the existing entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely :- “7. Absolute Alcohol ₹5.00 per bulk litre”; (iii) against serial number 11, for the existing entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely :- “11. Wine, Cider ₹1.00 per bulk litre”. 5. In the said orders, in order 2, for clause and entries thereagainst, the following clause and entries thereagainst shall be substituted, namely:- “(a) Wine ₹10.00 per bulk litre.”. 6. In the said orders, in order 5, for the existing clauses and entries thereagainst, the following clauses and entries thereagainst shall be substituted, namely:- Serial number Kind of liquor Rate of duty “(i) Super Mild Beer containing alcoholic content upto 3.5% v/v ₹30.00 per bulk litre (ii) Mild Beer containing alcoholic content above 3.5% v/v and upto 5.5% v/v ₹40.00 per bulk litre (iii) Strong Beer containing alcoholic content more than 5.5% v/v ₹50.00 per bulk litre (a) Super Mild ₹40.00 per bulk litre (b) Mild ₹50.00 per bulk litre HARYANA GOVT. (EXTRA.), JUNE 9, 2023 (JYST. 19, 1945 SAKA) 1409 Serial number Kind of liquor Rate of duty (c) Strong ₹60.00 per bulk litre (v) The rate of additional excise duty on country liquor ₹60.00 per proof litre (vi) The rate of additional excise duty on Indian Made Foreign Liquor ₹100.00 per proof litre (vii) Draught Beer ₹40.00 per bulk litre (viii) The rate of excise duty on retail sale of beer shall be ₹40.00 per bulk litre on the beer manufactured by pub Micro Brewery Project in the State.”. 7. In the said orders, in order 5A, for clause (i) and entries thereagainst, the following clause and entries thereagainst shall be substituted, namely:- “(i) Ready to Drink Beverages ₹20.00 per bulk litre.”.
