203TAMIL NADU GOVERNMENT GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY The following Act of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly received the assent of the Governor on the 17th June 2022 and is hereby published for general information:— ACT No. 37 OF 2022. An Act further to amend the Tamil Nadu Infrastructure Development Act, 2012. Tamil Nadu Act 22 of 2012. Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadu in the Seventy-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:— 1. (1) This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Infrastructure Development (Amendment) Act, 2022. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. In section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Infrastructure Development Act, 2012 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), in sub-section (3), for clauses (c) to (m), the following clauses shall be substituted, namely:— “(c) the Chief Secretary to Government, Ex-officio; (d) the Secretary to Government, Finance Department, who shall be the Member–Secretary, Ex-officio; and (e) the Chief Executive Officer of the Board, Ex-officio.”. Short title and commencement. Amendment of section 3. 3. In section 6 of the principal Act,- (1) for sub-section (1), the following sub-section shall be substituted, namely:- “(1) There shall be a Chief Executive Officer for the Board appointed by the Government.”; (2) in sub-section (2), the expression “with the approval of the Government” shall be omitted. 4. In section 9 of the principal Act, in sub-section (2), for clauses (c) to (l), the following clauses shall be substituted, namely:- “(c) the Chief Executive Officer of the Board, who shall be the Member–Secretary, Ex-officio; and (d) experts in the fields of finance, economics, infrastructure and the like not exceeding two, as may be nominated by the Chairperson of the Executive Committee.”. 5.
