Finance Department Notification 26th Jrune 2024 No.-F(27)Pen.Cell-22/2024-632(Pen FIn exercise of the powers conferred under the Proviso of Article-309 of the Constitution of India, the Govemor of Bihar is hereby pleased to make the following Rules to amend the Bihar General provident firnd Rules, 1948 :- l. Short title, extent and commencement.- (i) These Rules may be called the Bihar General provident fund (Amendment) Rules, (ii) It shall extend to the whole of the Stare of Bihar. (iii) It shall come into force at once. 2. The following clause(c) shall be added after clause (b) of sub rule(l) of rule I i of Bihar General provident Jitnd Rules, 1948 :- " In any financial year where GPF subscription for subscriber has already reached the threshold limit or likely to reach that limtt; provision of minimum monthly subscription ofsix percent of the emoluments; may be relaxed.
