NOTIFICATION No. DISH 0917/ CR-8A LABOUR-I.- In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Maharashtra is hereby pleased to make the following rules further to amend Director, Additional Diregtor, Joint Director, Deputy Director (Group-A) and Assistant Director (Group-B) in the Directorate of Industrial Safety and Health (Recruitment) Rules, 2009, namely : - 1. These rules may be called as Director, Additional Director, Joint Director, Deputy Director (Group-A) and Assistant Director (Group-B) in the Directorate of Industrial Safety and Health (Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules, 2021. 2. In rule 6 of Director, Additional Director, Joint Director, Deputy Director (Group-A) and Assistant Drector (Group-B) in the Directorate of Industrial Safety and Health (Recruitment) Rulesi2009 (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Rules"), in clause (b),- (i) for sub-clauses (i) and (ii) tt,.e following sub-clauses shall be substituted, namelv: - "(j) are not more than thirty eight years of age : Provided that, the age limit shall be relaxed upto frve years in case of the candidates belonging to the reserved category: Provided further that, the maximum age limit shall be relaxed upto five years in case of person already in the Government Service: Provided further that, relaxation of five years shall be available to the reserved category Government employee either for being Government employee or for belonging to the reserved category; (ii) possess a degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Instrumentation or Chemical Engineering or Chemical Technology of a Statutory University at least in second class or any other equivalent d.egree recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or the University Grants " Commission (UGC);"; (iil in sub-cl ause (iii) for the proviso the following shall be substituted, namely : - "Provided that, the period of experience may be relaxed by two years in case of persons holding Doctor of Philosophy degree in the subjects mentioned in sub-clause (jj) above.". 3. In rule 7 of the principal Rules for clauses (i) and. (ii) the following clauses shall be substituted, namely: "(i) are not more than thirty eight years of age : Provided that, the age limit shall be relaxed upto five years in case of the candidates belonging to the reserved category: Provided further that, the madmum age limit shall be relaxed upto frve years in case of person already in the Government Service: Provided further that, relaxation of five years shall be available to the reserved category Government employee either for being the Government employee or for belonging to the reserved category; (li) possess a degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Instrumentation or Chemical Engineering or Chemical Technology of a Statutory lJniversity at least in second class or any other equivalent degree recognised by the All India council for Technical Education (AICTE) or the university Grants commission (uGC):,,. 4.
